The Institute of Contemporary Development has published its most recent analytical bulletin. The main topics of this issue are: Russia in the global economy; RF, EAEC and EU; National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation; new nationalist wave in Europe; the world economy — prospects of 2016.

I. Yurgens. “Turn to the East” and Future Positions of Russia in Global Economy
Summarizing interim results of the work of the Institute of Contemporary Development on new economic positioning of Russia. “Emergence of meaningful foreign economic strategy in the Asia-Pacific region would be the movement in the right direction for Moscow. But Russia will still be forced to live in the same integral economic world bound with global value-added chains and controlled by global institutions of governance in the world where there is no isolated “East” and “West”.

“Russia has entered into a lasting and uncomfortable period of hard competition in commodity markets under condition of falling prices for these commodities (list of such commodities goes beyond oil and gas). However, acceleration of innovation and industrial restructuring are the main current trends”. About the way these factors affect determination of approaches to national security.

This relates to public administration practice to an even greater degree”.
